A wet commute ruins a normal sneaker fast. Wet socks by 9am, a shoe that smells by Friday, no real way to clean it without wrecking the glue. That's the problem NTX-2601 is built to solve.
We make our shoes in small batches, with care in every pair.
What makes these waterproof shoes work is an N-TEX™ membrane inside the upper, rated past 10,000mmH₂O. Not a treated knit. Not a coating. A dedicated barrier layer. We tested it in real rain, not a lab spec sheet, because a number on a page doesn't tell you what happens when your commute starts in a downpour.
Founder Sean Back wore an early pair of these every day for six months while delivering Uber Eats. Rain, slush, spilled coffee, whatever the shift threw at him. That's where the fit and the wash cycle got worked out, not in a design meeting.
It's also the only pair in our lineup you can throw straight into a washing machine. Cold cycle, then air dry, for about two hours.
We put it on a kitchen scale, too. A size 12 NTX-2601 comes in at 355g, next to 416g for a comparable pair from another brand's size 10. Lighter shoe, same size class.
NORIX is a new brand, and we know that's a fair thing to be skeptical about. We don't have years of reviews yet. We have a founder with 16 years in footwear, and receipts instead of promises.
